China: a major growth vector
For Club Med, the Yabuli Village is the first step of a growth project in China that plans to create four other villages and attract 200,000 clients by the year 2015, with the support of its Chinese partner Fosun, which holds nearly 10% of its capital. Club Med’s goal is therefore to become the leader of upscale all-inclusive holidays for Chinese clients.
Today, Club Med is looking to position itself on this highly promising market, and to make China one of its top markets within the next 5 years.
