Brisbane?s newest dining and bar venue has just opened at the Watermark Hotel Brisbane. Ideally located in the hub of Spring Hill and overlooking the spectacular Roma Street Parklands, the 551 Restaurant & Bar can be found on level 1 of the Watermark Hotel at 551 Wickham Terrace.
Upon entering, the first glimpse is towards the illuminated turquoise bar surface complimented with gleaming stainless fittings and sleek modern surrounds which showcases the bartender preparing for the next refreshment. Stool seating is arranged at the bar, along the window facing bench tables and clustered around high tables with a selection of tub chairs and coffee tables. A large high definition television is positioned for all to see and features the latest events. Bar service includes beers, wines, cocktails, tea and coffee, light meals and tapas.
551 Bar
The bar is open daily from 12noon until 9.30pm except Sunday when it is closed between 2 and 5pm.
Lunch is served daily from 12noon in the bar area and includes a selection of light meal options.
Tapas are served from 5 to 6.30pm daily in the bar area.
Dinner is served on Sunday from 5pm.
Beyond the tapas bar the new restaurant awaits. The d?cor is infused with subtle charcoal and silver colour tones highlighted with intimate lighting that creates a relaxing ambience. Crisp fresh linen adorns tables dressed with gleaming cutlery and new table-wear inclusive of elegant wine glasses. Seating is arranged in an eclectic palette of mocha and chocolate colours that are as attractive as they are comfortable.
The new dinner menu features a generous menu selection of modern Australian dishes including primary ingredients of oyster, scallop, fish, mushroom, duck, lamb, pork, beef and veal. Dessert is simply irrestible with offerings of souffle, tartlets and puddings to mention a few.

Breakfast is served from 6.30am to 9.30am Monday to Friday and from 7am to 10am on the weekend.
Continental buffet is $16 per adult with additional a la Carte hot selections $7.
Dinner is served from 5pm nightly in the restaurant.
In room dining is available from 7am to 10pm daily.
