Providing funding for 856 projects in 80 countries
Over twenty years, the Air France Foundation has been providing funding for 856 projects in 80 countries to help children and young people who are sick, disabled or vulnerable.
Over the years, the Foundation has successfully established links with charities, NonGovernmental Organizations and various institutional partners through its work based on the conviction that access to education, training, leisure pursuits and cultural activities are the best preparation for a proper start in life. It is currently among the leading corporate foundations in France, both in terms of financial allocations and the number of projects initiated.
Set up in 1992, it is one of the oldest French corporate foundations. The various activities carried out over the years have led it to occupy a special place in the heart of Air France staff.
The Air France Foundation Prize
Since 2009, during an annual awards ceremony, the Air France Foundation Prize has been honouring men and women for their efforts in favour of children and young people who are sick.
The 2012 Air France Foundation Prize, which was awarded on 21 November 2012 at the Mus?e des Arts Forains in Paris attended by H?l?ne Conway-Mouret, Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. It goes to Isabelle Boursier and Nataly Charbonnier, the two founding members of the charity ?A?na, Enfance et Avenir?. This charity, which has been sponsored by Laurent Voulzy for the past four years, provides solutions aimed at giving Malagasy children from disadvantaged backgrounds, underprivileged teenage mothers and their babies a better future.
