Lima, October 11, 2012.- Backus was recognised as one of the 10 most admired businesses in Peru. This award, granted in this country for the first time, recognises Backus? work concerning Reputation and Sustainability, a result of a good Corporate Governance, which ensures transparency, objectivity and competency for its clients, shareholders and other resource providers.

This recognition, awarded by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the G de Gesti?n Magazine, evaluates seven characteristics – financial strategy, financial management, innovation capability, commercial and marketing strategy, management team quality, corporate governance and social responsibility in business – through an investigation done among the country?s high level executives.

Regarding this award, Mauricio Leyva, President of Backus, said: ?With this award, we reaffirm our business commitment to all our interest groups and Peru.
