NEW YORK, New York – Alfred Pisani, Founder and Group Chairman, Corinthia Hotels, spoke on a panel entitled ?True Globalization of the Global Hospitality Industry? moderated by Peter Benudiz, Partner, MilBank. The 34th Annual New York University International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference was held June 3-5, 2012 at the New York Marriott Marquis and hosted by the NYU-SCPS Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management ( scps.nyu.edu/tisch ). It is considered the premier hospitality finance and development forum of its kind.
At the Globalization session, Pisani noted that ?the globalization of travel has had, and will continue to have, a positive impact on the human race. As people get to know each other better through travel, on a one-to-one basis, it fosters goodwill, greater understanding, and, hopefully, a shared desire for peace.?
