Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today announced a significant upgrade to its service between the United States and the city of Rio de Janeiro with the introduction of full flat-bed seats in BusinessElite cabin available from October 27th.
“The introduction of the flat-bed seats in our service to and from Rio de Janeiro underscores our continuous commitment to offering our customers in Brazil a superior travel experience,” said Nicolas E. Ferri, Delta?s vice president? Latin American and Caribbean.?”In addition to Rio de Janeiro, flat beds are already available on flights between Sao Paulo and both Atlanta and New York JFK. Other product features include enhanced in-flight entertainment throughout the aircraft and other amenities such as power outlets and increased overhead bin space.?
All 40 BusinessElite seats will offer a fully horizontal sleep experience with a full-size pillow and duvet, along with direct aisle access and more privacy.
