Even more destinations served by Air France with its Air-Rail services

Combining different means of transport to make connecting trips easier provides customers with several different benefits:

  • attractive fares with a cheaper single fare than buying a separate train and air ticket,
  • earning Miles on the train trip + flight for passengers who are members of the Flying Blue frequent flyer programme,
  • time saved thanks to the station?s central location at Charles de Gaulle and check-in possible up to 15 minutes before the train?s departure,
  • assistance with connections if the train or flight arrives late and passengers miss a connection.

At the station, passengers are checked in to their final destination and are given their boarding cards for their entire trip. If they have baggage to check in, they can do so directly at the airport at the baggage drop-off counter.

Optimizing resources

By offering rail connections on short trips, Air France has chosen a method of transport that optimizes resources and reduces its carbon footprint. The airline is illustrating its vision of sustainable transport in Europe and is confirming its commitment to the fight against greenhouse gas emissions.
Air France?s Air-Rail services exist between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Brussels and many cities in France: Angers-St. Laud, Avignon, Le Mans, Lille-Europe, Lorraine-TGV, Lyon Part-Dieu, Nantes, Poitiers, Tours-St-Pierre-des-Corps, Toulon, Valence and soon Strasbourg.
