International Ski Countdown
22 Nov ? 22 Dec (annual), Obertauern

One of Austria’s most popular resorts, Obertauern, is a winter hotspot for skiing and snowboarding. The International Ski Countdown celebrates the new ski season with a gigantic snow-bar, fireworks, an open-air festival and a large disco. www.obertauern.com

 

FIS Ski World Cup Opening 2012
26 ? 28 Oct 2012, S?lden, Tirol

From 26th to 28th October 2012, S?lden/Tirol will be hosting ?the ultimate FIS Ski World Cup?Races. ?Like every year, the women’s giant slalom will open the new World Cup season. www.skiweltcup.soelden.com

 

Ski Juwel Opening
14 ? 16 Dec 2012, Alpbachtal – Wildsch?nau, Tirol

A new skiing experience with one ski pass launches in December 2012! The ski resorts Alpbachtal and Wildsch?nau are joining forces! Under the new name ?Ski Juwel?, the resort has become one of Tirol?s Top 10 out of 82 ski resorts. www.skijuwel.com

 

FIS Alpine Ski World Championship
4 ? 17 February 2013, Schladming

In February 2013 (4th to 17th), the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships will take place at the Styrian ski resort of Schladming. More than 650 athletes from 70 nations will compete in 11 disciplines. www.schladming2013.at
