In honour of the upcoming Games, Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore is celebrating Baltimore?s hometown hero Michael Phelps with a series of special promotions and unique travel and culinary experiences designed to get guests and locals into the spirit of the world?s largest international sporting event.
Give Back Like an Athlete
From July 27 through August 12, 2012, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore will feature the Athlete Recovery Treatment and Gold Medal Facial with a portion of the proceeds from both going to the Michael Phelps Foundation. Guests will leave refreshed and renewed while also leaving a humble print on the organization founded by the medal-winning swimmer to help grow the sport of swimming and promote healthy and active lives and goal setting, especially for children.
Mini Medallists
Pint-sized future athletes staying at the Hotel during the same two week period will receive their own gold medal upon check-in, and will have the opportunity to wish the Baltimore native well this summer. In a ?Letter to Michael Phelps,? kids will be able to tell Charm City?s hometown hero about their visit to Baltimore and their experiences at the Hotel watching him and other athletes compete. Those who may be too young to remember 2008 can learn about the athlete on a fun fact card. The Hotel will present the letters to Michael upon his return to the US.

Athletes not competing in London this summer can channel their inner ironman with the Michael Mina Restaurant Triathalon . Run, swim or bike to Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore and visit all three of the renowned chef?s restaurants ? LAMILL COFFEE, Wit & Wisdom, and PABU – for a special medal at the ?finish line.?
London Calling?
Guests can wake up in true British fashion and enjoy one of the country?s most cherished pastimes: ?Hi Tea? at LAMILL COFFEE. Stop by the caf? located on the first floor of the Hotel and tweet ?Good Morning @LAMILLCafeBmore” with a photo of a coffee or tea purchased and receive a complimentary bacon cheddar scone.
Guests who can?t make it to London can also come together to view the sporting spectacle and celebrate all-things-British with food and beverage specials at Wit & Wisdom and PABU. Enjoy the classic English dish fish & chips, Boddington?s Beer, and dessert for USD 20.12, along with other Brit-themed happy hour specials available every evening.
When Michael Wins, Guests Win
Guests can watch Baltimore?s favourite athlete Michael Phelps compete on large flat screen TVs in LAMILL COFFEE or Wit & Wisdom, and when he wins a gold, guests will receive a special complimentary offering from the restaurant.
