The projects in these regions will open between 2012 and 2013 and will operate mainly under the Golden Tulip brand. This will bring the number of countries in which Louvre Hotels Group operate to 45.
Especially Austria is a key market: from September on a new Tulip Inn hotel is being developed right across the Sudbahnhof Vienna. It?s a conversion of an already existing building which takes place at the same time the whole area is under construction as the new central station will replace the former S?d- and Ostbahnhof. Erste Group Immorent AG will finance the construction; Tulip Inn will manage the hotel upon completion.
Upon completion the 3-star hotel will offer 120 rooms in a trendy and modern design?and attracts guests with the standards of a Tulip Inn hotel and excellent transport?connection.
Willemijn Geels, Development Director North & Central Europa: ?The Louvre Hotels Group is delighted to have this hotel within our Tulip Inn brand. Austria is a key market for us and we are already under discussion with other hotels. Furthermore we are currently checking locations in the Austrian capital for the budget brands Campanile and?Premi?re Classe.?
