Marriott Rewards and Ctrip announce launch of their Global Partnership

Marriott Rewards Members Will Be Able to Earn Ctrip Points for Stays at 3,600 Marriott International Hotels.

Marriott Rewards, the highly acclaimed loyalty programme of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR), and Ctrip.com International Ltd. (NASDAQ: CTRP) are delighted to announce the launch of their global partnership which offers Chinese travellers a great variety of hotels and rewarding opportunities when they stay at 3,600 participating hotels around the world.

With the launch of this industry first partnership, Marriott Rewards members can now earn Ctrip points when they stay Marriott International?s hotels globally. This partnership is the first of its kind between a global hotel loyalty programme and Ctrip. In celebration of this occasion, Marriott Rewards and Ctrip will be offering members a ?Double Ctrip Points? Welcome offer. Ctrip members who join Marriott Rewards and elect to earn Ctrip points as their earning preference will earn double Ctrip points for their stays at any of the participating hotels globally from July 5 to November 15, 2012, up to a maximum of 50,000 points.

Enrollment in the Marriott Rewards programme and registration for the promotion are required. Members must elect to earn Ctrip points as their earning preference to qualify. Ctrip members, who also join Marriott Rewards and designate Ctrip as their earning preference, will receive twenty (20) Ctrip points per USD$1 spent at the following Marriott International brands, JW Marriott, Autograph Collection, Renaissance Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Vacation Club and EDITION (room rate only).

Members will also be able to receive ten (10) Ctrip points per USD$1 spent (room rate only) at the following brands, AC Hotels by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments.

Members will also be able to earn twenty (20) Ctrip points per USD$1 spent on room rate only at the Ritz-Carlton hotels, the luxury hotel partner of Marriott Rewards.

Ctrip offers the lowest guaranteed price for its hotel booking service – Book hotels in China with Ctrip and if customer finds a lower rate for the same hotel room elsewhere, Ctrip will refund 3 times the price difference.
