(Hong Kong, 12 March, 2012) ? EAST, Hong Kong is delighted to announce the appointment of Colin Gouldsbury as the restaurant?s new Executive Chef. Colin is British and belongs to the fourth generation of his family to be born in Hong Kong. He was trained formally at the Prue Leith?s School of Food and Wine in London, where he completed the course in Catering Management.
During his 14 years in London, Colin worked at the Harvey Nichols? Fifth Floor and later, the Michelin starred restaurant, Bibendum, which is part of Sir Terence Conran?s Group. The European training has given Colin the ability to produce sophisticated international cuisine which made him much in demand from many a well-known celebrities including Sir Bob Geldof. Colin also had the distinction of catering for parties at Kensington Palace.
