No ?Bull? when booking a hotel with Hotels.com!

Hotels.com launches Xtreme Booking 2

Hotels.com has today ?unleashed? the second video in its Xtreme booking series ? Xtreme Booking 2:?http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE60B8298BDEADC81&feature=plcp. The 2012 update features former freestyle motocross rider and member of Nitro Circus, Andy Bell, booking a hotel while running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Highlighting just how fast and simple the Hotels.com app is, the Xtreme Booking 2 video features Andy booking his hotel while taking part in the annual San Fermin festival.? He eventually escapes the stampede of bulls by ducking into his chosen hotel. With seventy per cent of Hotels.com?s mobile bookings made on the day of stay, the Xtreme Booking video shows the speed and efficiency of booking on-the-go, with the choice of the almost 155,000 hotels on Hotels.com.

The new video follows in the footsteps of the 2011 Xtreme Booking viral video which saw renowned skydiver JT Holmes booking into the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, while parachuting onto the property?s beach (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VnJlBypQEI).

Andy booked into the Hotel La Perla in Pamplona in just two minutes with four quick clicks, equalling the time set by skydiver Holmes in 2011. Katherine Birch, Marketing Director, Hotels.com Australia and New Zealand comments, ?Our mobile app aims to provide travellers with a quick and easy-to-use hotel booking experience, and Andy Bell?s amazing efforts illustrate this. The new video demonstrates that the Hotels.com app can help you find the perfect hotel ? whatever the circumstances.?

Andy added, ?It worked! In a two hundred yard sprint, with ten 900 kilogram animals on my heels, I booked a hotel room on Hotels.com and got the confirmation – mission accomplished! Coming into this, I did not know if it was possible to book the hotel during the run.? I use Hotels.com to book all my travel anyway, but I?ve never booked it on the fly,? he said.

The Hotels.com app launched for iPhone, iPad and Android in 2011,and for Windows Phone 7 in March 2012. The iPad app was recently updated to feature a contextual home page which changes based on the user, including showing upcoming bookings, Welcome Reward status or local hotel deals. Other updates include high resolution retina images and improvements to the map function.
