Plze?sk? Prazdroj inaugurated its new device used for partial dehydration of draff that will be sent to Plze? Heating Plant Inc. to be used to generate green energy. The heating value of draff, with 40% content of solids, is 6,6 GJ per ton. Burning 500 tons of draff will eliminate the heating plant?s usage of 244 tons of brown coal or other alternate fuels.
