Since 2004, the ?Best Russian Employers? have invited human resources professionals in Russia to reward the best employers of the country.
For the first time, Accor received a prize in the ?Hospitality? category during the ceremony that was held in Moscow, on June 22.
The event was organized by a non-profit group and officials from a large number of Russian regions were present. Trade unions, social organizations and representatives of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Ministry were also in attendance.
This award is the culmination of a major study handled by a committee of experts and consultants. The selection of candidates and the choice of prize-winners were done by assessing the financial and economic aspects of candidate companies’ activities and analysing human resources practices. To do this, a major study was carried out with both employees and business partners enabling to gather precise and complete information on the social policy of the companies involved.
The study singled out Accor and other companies which have implemented a socially responsible policy and effective management methods.
