Palm Coast, Fla. ? Salamander Hotels & Resorts has appointed Allen Goodman as the new director of sales and marketing at Hammock Beach Resort.
The beachside Palm Coast property is part of Salamander?s new Grand Golf Resorts of Florida collection, which also includes Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay, Reunion Resort in Orlando and a Legends of Golf Trail featuring 162 holes of golf.
Goodman joins Hammock Beach from his former position as vice president of sales at Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Fairfax, Va. He was also previously the director of sales and marketing for Innisbrook Resort.
A graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Goodman is overseeing all sales-related functions for Hammock?s meetings and convention business, as well as catering, golf group sales and local marketing initiatives. He belongs to numerous professional organizations, including Meeting Professionals International, American Society of Association Executives, Professional Convention Management Association and Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International.
