Aspire Hospitality, the venue and event caterer that provides high quality services to the UK?s Silverstone Formula One Circuit and the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, is the latest business to achieve Hospitality Assured accreditation.
Aspire Hospitality was launched in 2007 as a joint venture between Sean Valentine, managing director, and Steven Saunders, creative director. The company?s mission is to provide restaurant-style levels of food and service within the fixed-venue and events industry.
This is provided by a small, dedicated and committed team of industry professionals which has expanded from seven to 29 full-time team members during the life of the business. The Hospitality Assured assessors were particularly impressed by the company?s commitment to partnerships. Several key alliances have been formed with handpicked like-minded businesses, such as Loch Fyne and the Coffee Cark Company.
To demonstrate the level of organisation, planning and logistics required from Aspire Hospitality?s operations, its small team expanded by an additional 900 casual team members on the British Grand Prix Sunday, all of whom required management, training and supervision to ensure that the company?s aspirations in relation to food and service delivery were met.
Hospitality Assured is the quality standard for business and service excellence. It is owned and operated by the Institute of Hospitality. The HA process encourages businesses to look at their operation from the customer?s perspective and see where improvements can be made. There are nine steps to achieving accreditation which cover key areas of business planning and service delivery.
