SWISS is further expanding its range of air services from Geneva and Zurich with effect from 8 March. The new flights will be offered under a codeshare collaboration with Darwin Airline on the Geneva-Luxembourg, Geneva-Genoa, Geneva-Lugano and Zurich-Genoa routes. SWISS/Darwin codeshare services will also be offered on the Geneva-Florence and Geneva-Venice routes from 25 March onwards.

The collaboration with Darwin Airline will offer SWISS customers an even broader choice of destinations. The new codeshare flights were presented today by Ignazio Strano, Head of Network at SWISS and Christian Schneider, Darwin Airline?s Chief Commercial Officer at a media conference at Geneva Airport. ?Our partnership with Darwin Airline will enable us to further strengthen our position in Western Switzerland by offering our customers an even more attractive range of services from and to Geneva,? Strano said.??

SWISS and Darwin Airline already work together: the partners have been jointly offering four flights a day between Zurich and Lugano since October 2005. Darwin Airline was founded in 2003. With its head office in Lugano, the regional carrier serves 18 destinations in Europe with a fleet of six Saab 2000 and two Bombardier Dash Q400 aircraft.
