4th ITSA Biennial Conference, Bali Indonesia, Aug. 23-26, 2012
The 4th ITSA (International Tourism Studies Association) Biennial Conference will be held onthe island of Bali in the Republic of Indonesia on August 23-25, 2012 at the Bali Tourism Institute. ITSA will use the Conference to focus experts and scholars on tourism destination planning, development and marketing, and to generate further dialogue in Asia and around the world.
The Conference will address the most important issues in building and running
tourism destinations around the world in the 21st century. It will have a strong focus on the development of local tangible and intangible cultures, and resort development.
This ITSA Conference will be one of the most significant tourism events to be held in Indonesia in 2012. The ITSA Conference is supported by Ministry of Education and Culture,Republic of Indonesia, and co-organized by several leading tourism institutions in Indonesia as well as by the wider academic and professional research community.
This ITSA conference has invited Bu Wiendu Nuryanti, the Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Education and Culture to present at the opening ceremony and six leading scholars from around the world will be keynote speakers on tourism and cultural heritage development.
