This year, the jury comprising well-known businessmen, business leaders and academics decided unanimously to grant this prize to the Guilisasti family, with a long business history inChile. Mainly linked to the wine industry through the Vi?a Concha y Toro and Emiliana wineries, it also participates in the fruit business through Greenvic.

The family is also linked to matters of social responsibility and the development of education through the Fundaci?n Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle (which awards full study scholarships), and Emiliana, an organic winery that has shown a strong commitment with its community with organic and sustainable agriculture. Greenvic has also entered into different partnerships for strongly promoting the company?s social commitment.

?A top-level and representative jury meets several times to nominate the candidates and select the family that best meets the demanding list of criteria, not only in successful business terms but also in its responsibility with its employees, shareholders, consumers and customers, and with society and the country in general. You are an example of good practices and it is very important that these are disseminated and known to thousands of family businesses in our country?, said Mauricio Larra?n, director general of ESE.
