US Airways Provides Flexible Travel Option For Charlotte Customers During DNC

CHARLOTTE, N.C — Due to the impact that weather has had on the Democratic National Convention’s event schedule in Charlotte, N.C., US Airways (NYSE: LCC) will provide its customers the flexibility to adjust their current travel plans at no additional cost.

For US Airways customers traveling from Charlotte, N.C. on Friday, Sept. 7, the airline will allow customers to move up their departure date to Thursday, Sept. 6 at no additional cost when travelling to their original destination.

To adjust travel dates, customers should visit http://www.usairways.com/ or contact US Airways Reservations at 800-406-6496. All customers are advised to visit http://www.usairways.com/ to check the status of their flight before heading to the airport.

US Airways encourages customers traveling from Charlotte to be prepared for additional traffic in and around the airport and allow plenty of time to arrive. Additionally,

Customers departing Thursday, Sept. 6 should arrive at least two hours prior to domestic travel and three hours prior to international flights

Customers departing Friday, Sept. 7 should arrive at least three hours prior to domestic travel and four hours prior to international flights
