The rankings, which recognize 100 companies out of the thousands throughout the state, appear in the August issue and on FloridaTrend.com.
The Vantage Hospitality family includes the Americas Best Value Inn?, Canadas Best Value Inn?, Chinas Best Value Inn?, Value Inn Worldwide?, Lexington Hotel?, and Lexington Inn? hotel brands. The word family is also a good way to describe the atmosphere at Vantage?s corporate headquarters in Coral Springs, which has always enjoyed a high promotion rate, low turnover and harmonious work environment.
Vantage also places a major emphasis on training and education for its employees, and has sponsored hospitality certification classes and other continuing education designed to improve employees? sense of fulfillment and their ability to assist the hotels? owners and operators. To be considered for Florida Trend?s list, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
