Visit California?s relationship with Rob Lowe began in 2008, when he appeared in the brand TV commercial ?Work.? Now his role has grown to include more appearances in TV spots (?Misconceptions? and ?Out There?), custom video content, California Visitor?s Guide cover and welcome letter, social media engagement on Visit California?s and Rob Lowe?s channels and event appearances.
Visit California?s first application for the iPad launched in December 2011. The app provides depth of experience to the consumer, combining visually stunning photography, captivating content, and the best of computer interactivity for a new level of consumer engagement. To date, the Visit California iPad app has been downloaded more than 20,828 times, almost half coming from international markets, and has receive four out of five stars in customer satisfaction.
