The Sheraton Samsun Hotel in Samsun, Turkey, will open next year, marking Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ debut in the city.
The Sheraton will be the tallest building in Samsun when it opens in late 2014. The 29-story property, developed by Tanriverdi Mensucat Sanayii, will have 200 rooms with views of the Black Sea.
Samsun, located about 450 miles east of Istanbul, has about 500,000 people.
Starwood has nine hotels in Turkey and will open the Sheraton Adana later this year.
