Concord Hospitality Promotes Matt McClelland to Senior Vice President, Select Service Operations

RALEIGH, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

Officials with Concord Hospitality Enterprises, one of the nation?s top-ranked hotel developer/owner/operators, today announced the promotion of Matt McClelland to senior vice president, select service operations. Most recently, he served the company as vice president, capital assets. In his new role, McClelland will assume responsibility for the operational performance and brand execution of Concord?s 86 select service and extended stay hotels.

Following eight years with Marriott, McClelland joined Concord in 1997 as director of operations for the Marriott in West Des Moines, Iowa. Over the course of his career, he?s served as lead general manager for 62 select service properties and as regional director for 15 midwestern hotels, along the way earning Marriott?s prestigious General Manager of the Year Award.
