Del is accountable for training and developing sales leaders in the field while implementing and executing strategic sales plans to enhance profitability in each of his area hotels. Del brings with him more than 16 years of experience across many disciplines within the hospitality industry.
Throughout his career, Del has spent the majority of his focus in the sales discipline, from grass roots and preopening experience to revitalizing and turning around sales efforts in distressed situations. Under Del’s leadership his teams have won several awards including Sales Team of the Year for the Crowne Plaza brand in 2008; and in 2010, and Del was recognized as Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year in 2011. With his wide range of industry experience, commitment to the hotel industry and successful sales talent development, Del will play a key role in favorably shifting the revenue results across HMC’s portfolio of hotels.
