Destination Hotels & Resorts announces the appointment of Jim O?Donnell as Director of National Sales for the Northeast region. In this new position, O?Donnell will focus on the Northeast Association, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Medical Device, and Technology industries.
Prior to joining Destination Hotels & Resorts, O?Donnell served as the New York and New Jersey in-market National Sales Manager for Caesars Entertainment, representing twelve properties in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, NJ, including brands such as Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, Harrah?s, Planet Hollywood and more. During his tenure, he made important contributions to the success of the Caesars sales organization and regularly earned quarterly sales awards. Before Caesars Entertainment, O?Donnell held various sales and marketing positions with market-leading properties in Philadelphia, New York and Atlantic City, including brands such as Omni Hotels & Resorts and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. His sales and marketing experience is built on a solid foundation of hotel operations knowledge, having worked in front desk, front office, housekeeping and other operations management roles prior to moving into hotel sales.

O?Donnell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing & Business Law from the Temple University Fox School of Business & Management and also earned a Master of Tourism & Hospitality Management Degree from the Temple University School of Tourism & Hospitality Management. He is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
