A historic New York landmark whose name pays homage to nearby Central Park, the newly renovated property is ideally located in midtown Manhattan, just steps away from many of the City’s most popular attractions, including Carnegie Hall. Fraser will utilize his extensive leadership experience to update and refine the overall guest experience following the property’s multi-million dollar transformation, while overseeing all hotel operations, finances and administration of the 761-room hotel.
A 25-year veteran in the hotel management and hospitality industry, Don has held roles in a wide range of lifestyle properties including the Paramount Hotel, New York City; the Royal Palm, Miami; the Affinia Dumont, New York City; The New York Palace and The Roosevelt Hotel, New York City. Fraser’s expertise and universal knowledge of the hospitality industry underscores his leadership talents in the areas of overseeing company-wide culture change initiatives, driving improvements in productivity, guest experience, revenue and associate satisfaction. As General Manager of Park Central Hotel New York, he will be leading a team of nearly 300 associates to create a sophisticated hotel experience including a top-level food and beverage offering, robust portfolio of meeting and event space as well as services and amenities to address the needs of both business and leisure travellers.
