EXETER, New Hampshire (August 27, 2013)?- Hay Creek Hotels is pleased to announce the promotion of George F. Soderberg II to Vice-President of Operations. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the overall operations direction of all Hay Creek properties.
George joined Hay Creek Hotels in 2009 as Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing. He quickly demonstrated his ability to improve revenue and GSI while simultaneously controlling costs. He took on a variety of responsibilities, including cost controls, design and implementation of service and operational standards, marketing, sales, market analysis, revenue management analysis, and food & beverage marketing, and conception.

Prior to joining Hay Creek Hotels, George spent 22 in years in various sales and managerial roles with Omni Hotels. During his time with Omni, George received numerous performance awards and his properties consistently exceeded customer satisfaction and financial targets. In 2007, George returned home to New Hampshire where he was the General Manager of the Sheraton Portsmouth Hotel for two years.
As Vice-President of Operations, George will be responsible for a variety of sales, marketing and operational projects spanning all Hay Creek Properties. “In his new, well-deserved position, George will play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of Hay Creek Hotels.” added MacLeod.
George is as committed to serving his community as he is to his work in the hospitality industry. He is Vice President of the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce, and Second Vice-President of the Lakes Region Tourism Association. He is a member of both the New Hampshire Historical Society and Historic New England. Additionally, while at Hay Creek, he has played a key roll in developing the “Wolfe Pack”, a charitable organization dedicated to volunteering their time every few weeks to assist the community at large.
