MIAMI – May 29, 2013?? Leslie A. Pchola has been named area vice president, southeast covering our Hilton Worldwide hotels and resorts in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Western Florida and South Carolina. Pchola most recently held the position of general manager of Austin?s largest premier convention hotel, Hilton Austin, featuring 800 guestrooms and 70,000 square feet of meeting space.
A 19-year veteran of Hilton Worldwide, Pchola has held distinguished management positions throughout her career with Hilton Hotels.? She began her in 1988 at Hilton International Toronto as part of Hilton?s Professional Development Program.?? Throughout her tenure with Hilton, she has held positions in the corporate offices both in Atlanta, as operations analyst for the Eastern Region, and in Beverly Hills as manager of operations analyst for the Corporate Finance Department.? Additionally, she has held property executive positions with Atlanta Hilton as resident manager and Hilton Cleveland East as general manager.
During her 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she has also worked for HJ Russell and Company, Laventhol and Horwath and Host Marriott.
In 1988, she graduated from the Georgia State University Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality with a degree in hospitality administration. Pchola is currently active in a number of hospitality and tourism industry organizations including serving as an executive board member of the Women in Lodging Committee of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.? She was also an executive board member of the Austin Convention and Visitor?s Bureau and the 2012 president for the Austin Hotel and Lodging Association.? In addition, she participated as a board member for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Austin Alliance Committee Member and 2012 Formula 1 Host Committee.
Pchola is married to Joe Morales and they have two dogs and enjoy boating, live music, hiking, traveling and spending time with family.
