Miami, FL. (August 26, 2013)?– Meli? Hotels International is pleased to announce the hiring of Darius Deavours as Director of Group Sales for their global collection of hotels and resorts, including Gran Meli?, Meli? , ME by Meli? , Paradisus, INNside, Tryp, and Sol.
Mr. Deavours will be responsible for groups, meetings, incentive sales, and conventions as well as maintaining client relationships for Meli? ‘s national accounts. He will be responsible for the regions of Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
Darius brings a strong background in hospitality sales. He has been in the industry since 1999 and has spent the last five years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. At Starwood, Darius served as Group Sales Manager with the Atlanta Metro Market, focusing on the Pharmaceutical & High Tech vertical markets selling all brands in the Starwood portfolio.
