FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (October 22, 2013)?- The AAA Four Diamond Atlantic Hotel & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Romi Rodriguez as sales manager. She will be responsible for generating room revenue for the hotel by penetrating existing accounts, uncovering new accounts and developing new business through direct sales calls and strategic partnerships.
Ms. Rodriguez brings over seven years of progressive hospitality experience to her new role. Prior to joining The Atlantic Hotel & Spa, she was the national sales manager for the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. In addition, she was a sales and marketing assistant for the Fort Lauderdale Collection of LXR (Bahia Mar Resort, Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, Hilton Marina Hotel, formally known as the Fort Lauderdale Grande Resort) where she excelled in sales and customer service. She also worked as a royal romance supervisor for The Wedding Experience in Miami. During her tenure, she was responsible for maintaining communications with the Royal Caribbean fleet to assist with questions or concerns regarding future and/or past weddings.
Romi is also multi-lingual and received her Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in Hospitality and Event Planning from the Miami Dade Community College.
