BOSTON and ORLANDO, Fla., April 9, 2013?? Intelity?s award-winning guest service software is now available on in-room iPads at Nine Zero Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel located in Boston.
A worldwide leader in integrated guest service technology, Intelity was selected by the luxurious Nine Zero Hotel to install ICE Touch technology, which allows guests to access hotel services on the tablets. The 190-room property installed more than 50 iPads into its lush Skyline View guest rooms and its four specialty suites. These rooms will feature the modified iPads as part of a recent refresh that aims to enhance the guest experience.
[quote]?We chose to establish a partnership with Intelity because of their reputation for providing the most exceptional guest service platform available,? said Jimmy Hord, general manager of Nine Zero Hotel. ?We felt that this technology would best complement our overall efforts toward room enhancement.? The menu featured on the iPad was specially designed by Nine Zero to fit within the property?s theme of ?Relax.?
?From the moment they walk through the doors, our message to guests is that our hotel is a haven from everyday stresses, a place to relax,? Hord said. ?We wanted this in-room technology to promote that same concept, while also providing an element of fun for the guest.?
Intelity President and CEO David Adelson said, ?The Intelity team makes it a priority to provide the highest quality in design, innovation and customer support. We are thrilled to have ICE featured in guest rooms at our first Kimpton property, the premiere Nine Zero Hotel, and expect their guests to be completely satisfied at the conveniences afforded by our platform.?
This customized version allows guests to:
- see an electronic compendium
- read articles from leading international newspapers
- peruse onsite dining menus
- access information about hotel spa services
- view a guide to local shopping and attractions
In addition, guests can take advantage of several other features, such as the ability to play an assortment of music stations, receive an insider perspective of local neighborhoods that includes tips from hotel employees, and browse an online retail store for out-of-the-box shopping items.
The ICE Touch software integrates with the hotel?s Epitome property management system, enabling guest information to be seamlessly communicated between the two systems. The integration is one of 35 from Intelity, the highest number available from any guest service platform in the world, and ensures a direct connection between the guest and the hotel?s systems.
