? A Communication and Commercial Crisis Control Centre, made up of staff members from passenger operations, sales and communications departments within the Company, has been defining and adapting all messages sent to customers in real-time 24/7.
? Close to 4,000 teams at the airport and call centres have been assisting and informing customers. A dedicated telephone number has been available since 18 January to respond to customers? calls.
? Since 18 January, over 250,000 e-mails and text messages have been sent to customers on cancelled or delayed flights who provided their contact details when making their booking.
In order to be notified personally in case of disruption to their flight, each customer must provide Air France with maximum reliable contact information (telephone, cell phone or e-mail) that they will have access to during their trip.
? Means of communication with passengers at the airport have been developed to guarantee constantly updated information: implementation of electronic displays, etc.
? Flight times are updated in real-time:
- at www.airfrance.fr, in the ?Flight schedules? section
- at mobile.airfrance.com or the Air France iPhone, Android Windows Phone and BlackBerry applications
? by texting your flight number to 6 36 54 (e.g.: AF6250).
Air France has also provided accommodation for customers who have not been able to reach their destination as a result of the bad weather. Therefore, since the beginning of the snowfall, over 2,700 hotel rooms have been reserved in the Paris region. Over 7,000 breakfast, meal or snack vouchers have also been distributed as well as 300 vouchers for taxis.
Postpone your trip at no extra charge
In order to minimize their inconvenience, Air France has recommended its customers planning to travel between 18 and 22 January on short and medium-haul flights to and from Paris-Orly / Paris-Charles de Gaulle to postpone their trip if they have the opportunity to do so.
