Air France celebrates the 60th anniversary of its flights to Caracas and Bogot?

Air France was therefore the first airline to launch a regular service between the Andes and Europe. The launch of the Paris-Caracas-Bogot? route owes much to the work of Paul Vachet who, twenty years earlier, set up the first Venezuelan air network for A?ropostale.

Since 1996, Air France has operated non-stop flights to Bogot? and Caracas from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Today, Air France operates 1 daily flight by Airbus A340-300 from CDG to Caracas and from CDG to Bogot?.

There will be several special events this year to mark the sixtieth anniversary of flights to Caracas and Bogot?, including Venezuelan and Colombian food festivals on board Caracas-CDG flights until 31 January, and Bogot?-CDG until 1 February, photo and art competitions, concerts, an exhibition on "Air France, 60 years of design in Venezuela" and more.
