Air France today signed a set of decisions with the three cabin crew unions (SNPNC, UNAC and UNSA) which will give rise to a new collective cabin crew agreement before 15 March 2013.
This set of decisions for cabin crew, as for ground staff and pilots, is based on the necessary productivity gains needed to achieve the target of a 20% improvement in the economic efficiency of the company.
It includes different types of measures, which complement those already implemented, concerning the medium-haul network, the long-haul network, measures relating to wages and working time and various measures related to daily working life.
The three unions will consult their members in the coming days on the basis of this set of decisions. The implementation of the new fixed-term collective cabin crew agreement (valid until 31 October 2016) is scheduled for 1 April 2013, in line with to the previously announced schedule.
In return for signing this cabin crew agreement, Air France management is committed to not implementing any forced departures before the end of 2014 and to handling overstaffing of this category of staff on a purely voluntary basis.
* To be valid, an agreement must be accepted by 30% of the unions. The three unions SNPNC, UNAC and UNSA represent more than 70%.
