If you love space and the idea of a futuristic travel experience, but the cost of a Virgin Galactic flight falls outside of your budget, consider a trip to?China?instead.
The Pengheng Space Capsules Hotel in Shenzhen, China, is a space-themed hotel almost entirely staffed by robots, with blue-lit sleeping pods instead of rooms. But despite such slick accommodations, the rates are exceedingly affordable at just 70 yuan ($11) per person per night.
Opened three months ago in the Bao’an District, the quirky theme hotel even offers unique digitally-focused amenities, such as a lounge area with tablets for ordering food and banks of PCs for gaming or grazing the Internet.
A locker is provided to each guest for belongings and a there is a laundry room available to guests for washing clothes.
