Strengthened Air France presence in Latin America
Leader in South America, Air France-KLM will serve 15 destinations in South America this summer with over 120 weekly flights departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol. The Company is continuing its development in this growth region with a 3.4% increase in capacity.
Montevideo, new Air France destination in South America
On 16 April 2013, Air France will launch services to Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, with 5 weekly flights as an extension of the route to Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Other new features announced for the summer season: capacity to Santiago de Chile will rise, with a bigger Boeing 777-300 aircraft operating the route three times a week, with the Boeing 777-200 continuing to operate the route the rest of the week. Services to Buenos Aires will be operated daily this summer with a larger capacity aircraft.
