Holland America Line Promotes Nick Ranade to Director, Technical Purchasing and Logistics

Seattle, Wash., Mar. 3, 2011 ? Holland America Line has promoted Nick Ranade to the position of director, technical purchasing and logistics. He reports to Rob Boksem, vice president, technical operations, for Holland America Line.

Ranade was appointed deputy director of technical procurement in April 2010. He joined the company as a staff accountant in 2000 and has held several management positions within the company. He was moved to manager, technical procurement, in 2007.

Ranade has 12 years of management experience in international marine operations, and his background includes finance, marine operations planning, dry-dock management and procurement.

Sunne Kim, who oversees the freight and logistics department, will now report to Ranade.
