InterContinental Hotels Group Partners With Nor1, Inc. for Multi-Brand, Multi-Hotel Implementation of Upsell Solutions

InterContinental Hotels GroupATLANTA, GA and SANTA CLARA, CA, Sep 11, 2013 (Marketwired via COMTEX) — Silicon Valley’s Nor1, Inc. and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) have strengthened their strategic partnership with the global rollout of Nor1’s pre-arrival upsell solution, eStandby Upgrade(R), making it available across the hospitality giant’s family of nine brands, over 4,600 hotels and in almost 100 countries and territories worldwide.

Expanding the collaboration with Nor1 will enable IHG, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, to resolve perishable inventory and optimize incremental revenue opportunities, as well as enhance the guest experiences at the hotel. The initial launch was centered on the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand, but the continued roll-out of Nor1’s eStandby solution will be made available to most IHG brands and properties around the world by the end of the year.
