JetBlue Airways?(JBLU)?today begins daily nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood to Lima, Peru. The new route is part of the airline’s continuous expansion at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood airport, where JetBlue now offers nonstop flights to 25 destinations, three of which are in South America. Lima is JetBlue’s 81st destination.
“Latin America is a strong, growing market for us, and we’re excited to extend our presence in South America by adding Peru to the JetBlue network. Customers in South Florida now have more options on JetBlue for a great experience at a lower price point.” said Robin Hayes, JetBlue’s chief commercial officer. “Lima is one of South America’s main business capitals and also one of the continent’s most exciting tourist destinations.”

The new Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood-Lima schedule allows for convenient connections to/from other destinations in?the United States and the?Caribbean?including:?Boston, Mass;?New York?(JFK, LaGuardia and White Plains);?Newark, NJ;?San Juan, Puerto Rico; and?Washington, DC?(Reagan National).
