Rosewood Hotels & Resorts debuted Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the brand’s first property in the United Arab Emirates, in May.
The property is located on Al Maryah Island in the new Central Business District, with direct, climate-controlled links to Sowwah Square offices, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and The Galleria at Sowwah Square, which is set to open next month.
Guest accommodations consist of 189 rooms and suites, 58 serviced residences, 73 residences that are available for long-term lease, and four penthouses. The d?cor includes Italian marble and custom chandeliers from the Czech Republic. The team of 300 staff wear uniforms designed by Domenico Vacca.
The hotel’s four restaurants are Catalan, with a menu from Barcelona and the surrounding region of Spain; Sambusek, a modern Lebanese restaurant; Aqua, which serves Italian and Mediterranean fare; and Spice Mela, which has a pan-Indian menu. Additional food and beverage outlets include Smoke, a shisha terrace; La Cava, which has a walk-in humidor; the Glo bar and lounge; the Hidden Bar; and the Majlis lobby lounge.
In addition, Rosewood Abu Dhabi offers eight conference and event spaces, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, as well as a pool, fitness facilities, and Sense, A Rosewood Spa.
