Luxury cruise operator?Scenic Cruises?introduced its 2014 itineraries, focusing on the debut of two new ships and launch of five new itineraries focusing on historic European cities.
Scenic?s eighth and ninth ships, Scenic Jade and Scenic Gem, will launch in 2014, giving the Scenic fleet no ship older than six years, with each of? the older vessels rebuilt in 2013. The new itineraries include a 19-day ?Treasures of Europe? voyage between Budapest and Amsterdam; an ?Ultimate Holland & Belgium? 11-day round-trip voyage from Amsterdam, and 17- and 20-day Danube voyages from Munich and Passau.
Also new are an 11-day ?Gems of the Seine River? voyage and a 23-day ?Gems of the Seine & South of France River? departure.? Also available is a 15-day journey along Russia?s Volga River.
Scenic will also launch a loyalty program in 2014 offering member-only discounts, $100 discounts and a dedicated help desk are some of the perks.? The Platinum level adds free limousine transfers before and after the trip and complimentary pre-or post nights (and more), and the Diamond level ? Scenic?s highest ? includes wonderful gifts choices and Diamond-level member events.
Scenic Cruises? ships offer guests personal handheld GPS units featuring audio and mapping for independent shore tours on foot or bicycle.
