LE BOURGET, France–Singapore Airlines Ltd (C6L.SG) Wednesday firmed up an order for 30 long-range Airbus A350-900 passenger jets as well as options for 20 more A350 planes, which might include the larger A350-1000 version of the aircraft.
Airbus, a unit of European Aerospace Defence & Space Co. (EAD.FR), said that overall the Singaporean state-controlled carrier has ordered 70 A350s with an option for 20 more.
