SWISS opens new ?Senator Bistro? at Zurich Airport

SWISS customers using the airline?s Senator Lounge at Zurich Airport can now take advantage of a new bistro area. The facility, which opened today, features a totally new seating and design concept, and offers visitors the chance to just relax over a coffee or grab a light breakfast on their way to their flight.?????

SWISS?s new bistro-style Zurich Senator Lounge facility extends over some 220 square metres on the lounge?s lower floor within the airport?s Airside Center. SWISS has also developed a totally new design and furnishing concept for the new facility together with its interior designers. The new zone also increases the lounge?s overall seating capacity by around 25%.

The new facility offers visitors 50 bistro places each equipped with their own power supply and USB connection, along with 30 further seats at the bistro bar. The food selection includes hot and cold snacks, while the beverages extend to a wide range of new coffees to emphasize the bistro accent. Free wireless LAN and a comprehensive choice of newspapers and magazines are provided throughout the lounge.

The new bistro facility is connected to the upper floor of the Zurich Senator Lounge with its comfortable Vitra leather armchairs. The upper floor also offers a further 17 workstations, along with laptops and internet access.

The SWISS Senator Lounge and its facilities are available to Senator Miles & More members and travellers with Star Alliance Gold status. The lounge is open daily from 06:00 to 22:30.
