Hotel Vitale taps new general manager

San Francisco?s Hotel Vitale hired?David Lemmond?as its new general manager.

Lemmond most recently oversaw operations at the Standard, High Line in New York City. Before that, he worked as general manager of the Standard in downtown Los Angeles and Miami Beach, among an number of other luxury properties around the country.

At Vitale, he is replacing longtime former general manager?Melony Williams.

LaSalle Hotel Properties?is currently in talks to acquire the Hotel Vitale?for $130 million.
