Annie Scrivanich?has joined?Cruise Specialists?as the company?s senior vice president. The company said Scrivanich joins Cruise Specialists from?Cruise Advisors, Inc., an Alaska cruise marketing firm. Scrivanich will be based in the company’s?Seattleheadquarters.
?Throughout her many years in the cruise business, Annie has built her career across virtually every aspect of running a successful cruise agency, all with an eye on ultimately improving the overall customer experience,? noted?John Lovell, president of?Travel Leaders Leisure Group. ?Annie?s extensive expertise for Tour Alaska, Inc. included pioneering the ?Route of the Glaciers? cruise itinerary and developing the highly-popular concept of private dome railcar travel through Alaska.?
Noting how Scrivanich?s skills align extremely well with Cruise Specialists? top priorities, Lovell?said she has earned respect within the industry for building and maintaining strong, successful relationships. She is a member of the?Alaska Travel Industry Association?and also recently served as a?Cruise Lines International Association?(CLIA)-Appointed Travel Agent Board Member.
As one of her first official responsibilities, Scrivanich will be in?Fort Lauderdale,?Florida, to greet 170 Cruise Specialists clients who are about to depart on?Holland America Line?s2014 World Cruise aboard the?ms Amsterdam?on January 4, 2014. Cruise Specialists will hold a special gala celebration for this loyal group of clients, many of whom are repeat world cruise guests, the company notes.
