Hilton Worldwide opens its first DoubleTree hotel in Ningbo, in China?s Zhejiang province.
Owned by Shimao Group and operated by Hilton Worldwide, the 220-room DoubleTree by Hilton Ningbo-Chunxiao is the 26th DoubleTree hotel to open in China.
Hilton Worldwide Greater China & Mongolia senior vice president of operations Bruce McKenzie said: ?The addition of DoubleTree by Hilton Ningbo-Chunxiao to our operational portfolio marks our entry into yet another important tourist and MICE destination in China as we continue to grow our presence across this key market.?
Constructed in Binhai New City of Beilun District, the hotel is one of six major urban sections in Ningbo undergoing rapid development.
Hilton Worldwide operates more than 60 hotels across China, with 180 properties currently being developed.
