Rezidor Hotel Group appoints David Jenkins as vice president business development Russia & CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
He joins from Jones Lang Lasalle Hotels & Hospitality Group where he served as executive vice president for Russia & CIS.
He succeeds Arild Hovland who retires from his full time role at the end of 2015 after a 27-year career with Rezidor.
Hovland will continue to act as exclusive advisor to Rezidor?s chief development officer.
Jenkins will be based at the group?s area support office in Moscow and report directly to executive vice president and chief development officer Elie Younes.
With a portfolio of more than 70 hotels and 17,000 rooms in operation and under development, Rezidor is the largest international operator in Russia, CIS and the Baltics ? the group says its current room count is twice as high as its nearest competitor.
