Wyndham Hotel Group appoints Kathy Maher as senior vice president, global sales and revenue, an expanded position that will oversee the company?s global sales efforts.
Maher, who most recently served as senior vice president of revenue management, will take on the additional responsibility of creating innovative sales strategies and guiding a global team of more than 125 salespeople.
Her sales teams will focus on implementing new technologies, generating faster commission payments, creating training initiatives and developing innovative incentive programmes for meeting planners.
Prior to joining Wyndham Hotel Group as senior vice president of?revenue?management, Maher spent 12 years at Hilton Worldwide. There, she held various revenue management leadership roles, most recently as vice president, revenue management, in the company?s owned and managed Americas division.
She also spent 15 years with Marriott International in a number of sales leadership and marketing positions, including area director of market strategy, director of sales and marketing, and cluster director of revenue management.
